 fully dedicated to musical performances designed for an
 Aussie+Desi (English / Hindi / Other) mixed audience.

OUR MISSION

Multicultural Band

As RagaRoos, we are a group of talented Australians 🇦🇺 that have Indian 🇮🇳, Pakistani 🇵🇰 and Italian 🇮🇹 heritage. The band is a true symbol of the melting pot of cultures that make Australia the wonderful country we all call home.

Building Connections

Our music brings people together, fostering meaningful connections between Indian Subcontinent adults and their Australian friends. Our music also bridges the gap between the current multiethnic generation and the upcoming australian-raised kids.

Music Mashups

All the songs in our setlist are mashups of English and Desi top 40 hits over the past 50 years. This means that in a diverse groups of cultures and ages, no one feels left out. Some other subcontinental languages are also included as a cherry on top.

Lauren Costa is the band's powerhouse drummer. Her energetic beats and infectious enthusiasm keep the rhythm alive and the crowd moving.
Basarat Ali Syed

Basarat Ali Syed is the band's talented bassist. With his groovy basslines and smooth stage presence, he adds warmth to the Raga Roos sound.
Rishabh Goswami

Guitar
Rishabh Goswami is the band's rockstar guitarist. With his innovative riffs and dynamic playing style, he blends Desi melodies with Aussie pop vibes.
Munsif Paracha
Munsif Paracha
Keys
Munsif Paracha is the band's virtuoso pianist. With his ability to seamlessly blend different musical genres, he adds a rich soothing texture to the Raga Roos sound.
